Construction Training Fund

You can get grants of up to $19 000 if you employ registered apprentices and trainees in Western Australia's building and construction industry – with an additional 30% loading if you engage Aboriginal apprentices.

Australian Apprenticeship Support Network

The Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) offers a free service to employers, apprentices and trainees to support each stage of the apprenticeship/traineeship program. If you hire apprentices, you may be eligible to receive payroll tax exemptions, travel and accommodation allowances and incentive payments under the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Programme.

Youth Jobs PaTH

The Commonwealth Government's Youth Jobs PaTH is a new program designed to better prepare young people aged between 15 and 24 for work in your business. It also encourages employers to trial a young person for a job and offers financial incentives if they hire them.

Restart Program

The Restart program provides incentives and assistance to encourage as many mature age job seekers as possible to find suitable work and to stay off welfare. The value of a Restart wage subsidy is up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) over a 12 month period.
